Alan Berecka is a retired librarian who lives in Sinton, Texas. His latest book or poetry is Atlas Sighs: Selected and New Poems, Turning Plow Press, 2024. From 2017-2019 he served as the first poet laureate of Corpus Christi.
Ken Hada, author of eleven collections of poetry, has been honored by Western Writers of America, the National Western Heritage Museum, SCMLA, The Writer’s Almanac and the Oklahoma Center for the Book. He directs the annual Scissortail Creative Writing Festival at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
Paul Bowers lives with his wife on a ten-acre farm in Ringwood, Oklahoma. He teaches writing and literature at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid. He is the author of three poetry collections and a short story collection, and is the founder of Turning Plow Press.
Cullen Whisenhunt is a graduate of Oklahoma City University’s Red Earth MFA program. His poetry has appeared in Dragon Poet Review, The Bamboo Hut, and The Ekphrastic Review, among other journals. Turning Plow Press will publish his first full-length collection later this year.
